El Nido Del Condor

We gathered for the second annual Fly in at Willie & Sigrig's in Clearwater B.C. during the last week-end of June and had fun. Here is photo from launch with Sigrid in the forground and brother Derek in the air

Time Flies

Wow July arrives already. This Spring/summer has been a busy/rainy one. It's Sunday morning and I am looking at the overcast skies and not feeling like doing too much. Listening to a little Among Thorns It's nice to be home with Jackie and not have much to do. But I understand that time has a way of filling it self. And so here we go...

Great Quote

The power of hiding ourselves from one another is mercifully given, for men are wild beasts, and would devour one another but for this protection.

Isadora Is Awesome

Mint Linux 9 has arrived. Code named Isadora. This is a very nice desktop Linux. A couple tweaks and wow!

Things that make me think

Christianity started in Palestine as a fellowship; it moved to Greece and became a philosophy; it moved to Italy and became an institution; it moved to Europe and became a culture; it came to America and became an enterprise.”

Isadora Has Arrived

I have had a couple of days to check out the newest Linux Mint code name "Isadora" and while this is a RC and not final it is good. The only thing I have done is add the Awn dock and a few bits of software. It is very fast and very clean.

Laminin

This a picture of the protien that holds us together. It is called a Laminin. This is one more wonderful way that my God speaks to me on my journey of discovery. Check this post out to really understand where I am going here.

Changes

Well our Executive Director is stepping down after 10 years. The board has been looking for his replacement and soon enough we will be under new leadership. I cannot even begin to say how much I have leaned and grown under the leadership Tim Larose has provided. He has been a great mentor and a unique example of God's Grace in motion. Bless you Tim where ever you go and what ever you do. You are and will always be my friend! I treasure the past and look forward to what comes next.
